Why does everyone have to fall under a certain "type"? We're not books, which are amazing, but always categorized. Why can't we all live on the same shelf, rather than divided? Don't get me wrong, I hate those fucking posts where people try to make themselves seem really intellectual and important. I'm honestly curious as to what stands in the way of equality, besides people's greed and bigotry. Are those the only things, and are all issues connected?
Maybe people aren't willing to change what they've been brought up to believe. When ideas clash, the outcome sometimes leads to disaster. Idk how we will ever achieve world peace, but I like the thought of peace with oneself. Everyone has their own opinions, and if we are comfortable with that then I feel as though we are one step closer to equality on many fronts.
